A Bright Light (A Passion Project)

By Milana

A Bright Light is a passion project founded by Georgia native and mother of four beautiful children, Quiana Childs. She is partnering with her 2 oldest children on this project, and hopefully in years to come, the youngest two will join.

Having experienced hardships around times of the year that were supposed to be joyous, she knows what it feels like to try your best to show up every day – despite what the world throws your way. In some of her darkest times, her children’s thoughtful through their crafts, writings, and illustrations acted as a reprieve from the hardships of the world. They were a gentle reminder that she was loved, thought about, and cared for.

A Bright Light‘s mission is to spread happiness, hope, and positivity through artwork to individuals in our community that might be facing hardships or challenges. It can definitely be difficult to see a bright light when you feel like you are surrounded by darkness. However, with enough helping hands, we are hoping to we can help others see a bright light and feel its warmth surround them (even if it is for a few moments).
